Install Youkore

Minimum requirements​

  • Windows 10/11 64-bit (Mac/Linux coming soon)
  • 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended)
  • 5 GB free disk space
  • An internet connection for first-time setup

Download​

Go to youkore.com/download and grab the latest installer.

Step-by-step install​

  1. Run the downloaded .exe. Windows may show an "Unknown app" warning: click More info → Run anyway (Microsoft code signing is on its way).
  2. Follow the wizard. The defaults are fine for most users.
  3. When done, Youkore launches automatically. You'll see an icon in the system tray (next to the clock).

Open the client​

Double-click the tray icon, or search for Youkore in the Start menu. The main UI opens.

What happens on first run​

Youkore prepares the environment: downloads base models, sets up the local database, checks for updates. The first launch can take a couple of minutes.

When you see the login screen, you're ready for first login.

tip

If Windows Firewall asks permission to open ports, allow it. Those are needed for the backend to talk to the client.
